Barbell Care and Maintenance

We are excited as you are about your shiny new Barbell!

Your barbell will require some maintenance to keep it in good shape for the life of the bar.

It is recommended you carry out the following maintenance to keep the barbell healthy and performing it's very best —frequency will vary based on climate and type of barbell.

1) Use a plastic/nylon bristle brush and a mild detergent to clean the knurl.

2) Wipe down with 3:1 oil and brush into the knurl with a plastic bristle brush. The steel will soak the oil in and the bar will stay healthy.

3) Wipe off any excess oil with a dry towel.
